The Operate and Managed Services team provide Level 2 support for customers all over Europe.
What you will learn and contribute to
As a Trainee RAN Engineer, you will have to perform tasks related to the network integration activities. You will understand our customer's technical network architecture and you will get the opportunity to engage in RAN related activities on a multi-vendor network, involving all technologies: 2G, 3G, 4G and 5G.
You will:
- Ensure accurate and timely creation, update and completion of all tickets, with prompt escalation and notification of incidents during operations as per technical instructions received from both customers and internal management
- Follow-up and raise tickets towards next level support
- Address performance issues according to customer-defined procedures and ensure their successful implementation in the network by creating, implementing, and closing Requests
- Commission preventive maintenance activities needed to keep customer networks running at optimal levels
- Identify, diagnose, and resolve network problems under senior engineers’ guidance and supervision
- Provide prompt and appropriate follow-up with regular feedback to customers about ongoing issues
- Provide technical support for site integration/swap/upgrade activities for all the RAN technologies 2G, 3G, 4G and 5G for a multivendor environment (Huawei/Ericsson)
- Engage in improvement proposals for existing processes & procedures
- Preparing the prerequisites related to the integration activities
- Perform technical activities related to required network changes & updates
- Perform troubleshooting activities related to issues that appeared after the remote implementation of network-related services including but not limited to integration, configuration, and re-homing using predefined work instructions
- Provide field staff with assistance during various implementation activities, planned works and related-basic troubleshooting
- Perform checks & reporting activities related to the daily performed operations
Your skills and experience
Mandatory:
- Students in technical university fields
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Excellent communication skills in English
Nice to have:
- Presentation & communication skills
- RAN network-related knowledge & experience
- French knowledge
