Network Performance and Optimization Team is part of the Nokia Global Delivery Centers organization. We are taking care of customers in Europe and globally as well.

 

 

What you will learn and contribute to

Network Performance & Optimization Engineer covers consultation of customers on communication network performance and contains optimization and/or managing of the optimization of customer networks.

 

The Performance & Optimization Engineer performs solution monitoring, data collection, generation of daily/weekly reports, and the first level of analysis and problem identification in a domain of the customer solution (radio, access, core, application).

 

Performs optimization in terms of capacity, architecture, performance, analyses counters, and metrics on current capacity and usage. Forecasts traffic patterns to evaluate the impact on current and future architecture. Recommends parameters tuning and design evolutions.

  • Works effectively in a mixed environment and uses best practices and knowledge of internal or external business issues to improve products or services.
  • Uses advanced analytical skills to solve complex problems or problems that do not have routine solutions and takes a new perspective.
  • Shares initial ideas for the professional direction of own organizational unit.

 

Your skills and experience

 

Must have:

  • Is currently enrolled in a Bachelor/Master’s university degree in telecommunication
  • Knowledge of radio network architecture for different technologies 2/3/4G
  • Good knowledge of Excel

 

Also, Nice to have:

  • Power BI
  • Experience working with operators or vendor
