      What you will learn and contribute to

      As a Trainee IP Engineer, you will have to perform simple IP operations on the network, evolve it, and maximize its robustness and availability. You will understand our customer's technical network architectures and you will get the opportunity to engage in administrating and maintaining the IP Network associated with mobile or fix infrastructure within a Business Unit.

       

      You will

      • Ensure the network performance analysis is carried out and initiate the resolutions of the analysis under senior engineers’ guidance and supervision
      • Analyze the operations impact on the network and integrate the new equipment
      • Address performance issues according to customer-defined procedures and ensure their successful implementation in the network by creating, implementing, and closing Requests
      • Commission preventive maintenance activities needed to keep customer networks running at optimal levels
      • Identify, diagnose, and resolve network problems under senior engineers’ guidance and supervision
      • Provide prompt and appropriate follow-up with regular feedback to customers about ongoing issues
      • Understand how collaboration with Operational skill centre experts and vendors for troubleshooting is performed
      • Repairing and recovering from hardware or software failures under senior engineers’ guidance and supervision
      • Follow-up and raise tickets towards next level support
      • Implement standard configuration and hardware changes in the production environment

       

       

      Your skills and experience

       

      Must have:

      • Is currently enrolled in a Bachelor/Master’s university degree in a technical field or any related
      • Excellent communication skills in English
      • Ability to work independently and in a team environment

       

      Also, Nice to have:

      • Presentation & communication skills
      • Experience as an IP-network engineer is a plus
      • Knowledge of IP protocols and Cisco, Juniper or Nokia equipment’s
      • IP know-how in routing and switching is a plus
