The Automation Engineer role involves the responsibility for specifying, designing and build automation equipment, tooling and applications as required to meet specifications.
Additionally, they collaborate closely with internal departments and the Suppliers (machine manufacturers) to provide the smooth production process.
What a typical day looks like:
- You will identify suitable solutions in respect of customer requirements, drive change to ensure automation effectiveness of existing processes;
- Design and develop the necessary automatization solutions;
- Develop, install and maintain PLC, IoT, Vision and Robot software;
- Develop, install and maintain PC application for automation solution;
- Explore, benchmark and drive continuous innovations to smart automation concepts and applications;
- Will respect CE regulations and prepare CE declaration for projects;
- You will closely collaborate with the design, programming, IT and automation team;
- Communicate and participate in on-site meetings with internal and external customers.
The experience we’re looking to add to our team:
- Bachelor’s degree in related field (preferably Electrical, Electronical, Mechatronics or Computer Science Engineering);
- Basic knowledge of Linux (Raspberry PI) and configuration of various IoT equipment;
- Experience in software development in (Python, C, C#);
- The ability to read and analyze technical drawings, electrical diagram and other technical specifications;
- Analytical and problem-solving approach, planning and organizational skills;
- Advanced level of English (written and spoken).
