The team you’ll be part of

You will join one of the key Nokia R&D Centers in Mobile Networks, with worldwide recognized technical expertise in OAM (Operations, Administration& Management) software type and System Integration and Verification. We are making sure that the software functionalities for Nokia 5G base stations are ready to be delivered to customers all over the world.

 

You will oversee testing the Single RAN and 5G software of the Nokia base station. At this level, we test all binaries/components as a part of end-to-end scenarios.

 


What you will learn and contribute to

  • Supports transfer of concepts for the professional direction of own organisational unit into actionable measures.
  • Analyses, designs, develops and tests products/services/improvements/bug resolutions for integrated hardware/software systems as per customers' requirements.
  • Resolves customer trouble tickets. Diagnoses complex problems/issues (hardware, software, combination) and provide resolution or recommends corrective actions.
  • Develops SW / HW build-controlled productions releases (update releases, service packages, maintenance updates, and customer design engineering).
  • Defines product hardware/software evolutions through the creation and release of hardware/software documentation, hardware/software change control management, and supplier and customer notifications.


 

Your skills and experience

You have:

  • University Degree in a relevant field: IT, Automation, Electronics or Telecommunications.
  • Linux and shell scripting: medium or advanced
  • Continuous Integration of knowledge
  • Good communication in English, both written and spoken


It would be nice if you also had:

  • Agile development methodologies
  • Software testing certifications (ISTQB)
  • Wireless technologies (4G and 5G)
